Synopsis
"It Is What It Is" is an experimental and abstract animated short film centered around the interaction of two hands. One hand is dedicated to constructing the ideal and perfect world, while the other hand, refusing to be outdone, disrupts and sabotages the order of the world. Through the entanglement of these hands, the animation expresses the internal struggle of perfectionists and the anxiety they face when confronted with imperfections. The core idea that this animation aims to convey is that nothing in the world is perfect, and only when we embrace our imperfections can we truly find the beautiful landscapes in life.

Context
In my animation journey, I frequently halt at unsatisfactory results or endlessly revise until I'm completely pleased. This habit hinders completing projects and induces anxiety. Through this short film, I aim to reconcile with my perfectionism and encourage viewers to embrace imperfections. After all, it's these imperfections that define our perfection.
Styleframes
This animation explores the inner world of a person, using hand-painted materials and organic textures to depict the imagery dynamically. This approach aims to convey the sense that the world is crafted by these hands themselves.
